Images and Photos – Guidelines & Tips

To keep our forum clean, fast, and visually consistent, please follow these simple rules and tips when sharing photos of your gear and music collections.
Technical Specifications
File Size Limit: The maximum size for a single image is 1000 KiB (1 MB).
Attachment Limit: You can upload up to 10 images per post.
Resolution: The system is optimized for images up to 2000 x 2000 px, ensuring great quality while maintaining fast loading speeds.
How to Add Photos
While writing a post, click the Attachments tab below the text editor.
Select Add files and choose the images from your device.
Once uploaded, click the Place inline button next to each image. This allows you to position photos exactly where you want them within your text.
Recommendations
Compression: We encourage conscious file compression before uploading. An image around 500-800 KB usually offers the perfect balance between sharpness and server performance.
Thumbnails: The forum automatically generates thumbnails (600 px wide). To view an image in full quality, simply click on it.
Storage Respect: While we have some server space, managing it wisely ensures OGY SOUND remains sustainable for years to come.
